Tenants - Why use Foden Property
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Once you have viewed a property that you would like to apply for, simply fill in the pre-application questionnaire, we will then discuss your circumstances with the Landlord and if they are happy to proceed you will be asked to pay a holding deposit and then sent the link for the referencing process to begin. Unless otherwise stated, we only process one tenancy application at a time.
There will be a holding deposit of 1 weeks rent payable before the application process begins and this will be deducted from your move in costs following successful completion of that process. This deposit will be refundable should the Landlord not proceed with your application through no fault of your own.
Most of our Landlords require a security deposit, this is usually a months rent, but can be a maximum of 5 weeks rent. Depending on your move in date you may be required to pay more than a months rent initially, on most of our properties the rent falls due on the 1st of each month so you may be required to pay additional rent to bring the payment in line with that. We will advise you if that is the case.
We use Signable to send through the tenancy documents, wherever possible, to speed the process up. This allows you to read and sign your paperwork away from the office.
